About
Jana Babincová is an established visual artist, who graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in Brno in 2006 and has shown her work a number or galleries, museums and art centers in the Czech Republic and internationally since 2004. Jana Babincová is trained as a painter, however her recent work also involves large-scale installations, performances, videos and intermedia work. Jana Babincová has more recently devoted her work to the principles of coding text, sound or motion into large format, site-specific paintings or installations, such as the Wall Gallery at MeetFactory. For her, the rhythm of the painting is derived from the direction and intensity of nearby sounds and noises.
