about the gallery
We are a gallery that reinvests its profits in exhibitions and presentations by artists. The term margin is, in our view, the relative share of the sales price of the work necessary to enable the gallery to operate financially independently. The monies earned are effectively used to create a gallery as a cultural institution, whose aim is to build an oasis of high-quality Czech art in the aesthetically arid desert of the contemporary lifestyle of the Czech masses. We operate on the basis of an individual approach to the customer. Our price of the work is a function of many partial parameters – from the author himself, to the age of the work and its material, to the dimensions or consideration of the relative cultural value. The result must always be an optimal trade-off and satisfaction of both sides of the trade in the form of a closed fair trade.
