About
Markéta Kinterová (1981) graduated from the photography studio led by Pavel Baňka, but during her studies she managed more than a visit to one studio – she spent a six-month internship at the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Connecticut in USA (2002). Bromová at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (2003), followed by an internship at the Fachhochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft in Berlin (2004), a residence at the Association for Contemporary Art in Graz, Austria (2006) and her last stay was an internship at the Centro de la Imagen Mexico City (2008). “Changing the cultural environment is an important source of knowledge for me. From the whole period of my studies I consider them to be one of the most interesting and beneficial stimuli, ”says Markéta Kinterová about her experience to date.
